O what do you do in the Spring time?

Everyone enjoys having a snow day every once and awhile, Maybe not in the middle of April , But non the less the day turned out to be ok. We managed to be one of the few with power and heat , so we quickly took advantage and used our creative side to think of some ways our family could enjoy a day in... and this is what we came up with......

Bradshaw decided to attempt to make a cool fort for Hayden and him to hang out in... It lasted a whole 2 mins after Bradshaw found out him and Hayden could not both fit inside at the same time, So the pro stepped in to assist.....

My new and improved Fort included high vaulted ceilings, lots of room , a place to sleep and the best part a built in tv....So the boys ended up hanging out in there most of the morning , eating food , watching tv and even napping.

Our afternoon activity included Bradshaws creative side, He got Hayden and him bundled all up and headed outside to build a snowboarding ramp ( he could not stand that there was all this snow and no were to snowboard) so he pushed Haydens slide over to the house , Packed it down with snow and then made a jump at the bottom of the slide .... He strapped on his board and would slide down the slide packed with snow right over the jump... Hayden would quickly follow on his bum.... They played for a good 2 hours outside.... Grayson napped and I enjoyed alittle sewing in my PJ's.. IT does not get much better then that
